Microsoft Intune - Software
About
Microsoft Intune is a cloud-based endpoint management solution, part of Microsoft Endpoint Manager, that manages user access and simplifies app and device management across your devices, including mobile devices, desktop computers, and virtual endpoints.
Why You Should Integrate
Integrating with Microsoft Intune will provide visibility into the software packages installed on your managed devices.
How Does the Integration Work
This integration pulls all installed software from Microsoft Intune by requesting an application inventory report export from the Intune reporting service via the Microsoft Graph API, then downloading and processing the completed report. Both the Microsoft public cloud and the US Government (GCC High) cloud are supported.
This data is only used internally; we do not share it with any parties outside of Arctic Wolf Networks. Refer to our privacy policy for details.
If you haven't already, please review our instructions for configuring the integration before proceeding with the instructions below.
Configuration Options
This integration does not require any additional configuration; it uses the credentials and connection settings configured for the Microsoft Intune platform.
The integration can authenticate in either of two ways:
| Method | Description |
|---|---|
| OAuth | Sign in to Microsoft with a user that has access to Intune reporting. |
| Client ID and Client Secret | Provide the Client ID and Client Secret from a Microsoft Entra ID app registration, along with your tenant domain. Customers in the US Government (GCC High) cloud should select the corresponding Intune region. |
