Sevco Network Discovery is a lightweight active discovery capability built into the Sevco runners to perform asset discovery.
This source will provide visibility into unknown devices attached to the network that may otherwise not be seen in any other system
This integration discovers previously unknown devices in an environment by utilizing various network protocols to extract asset information within the network. It does not perform any broad or intrusive active network scanning of endpoint devices.

Install a runner: Follow our instructions to install a runner.
Choose a runner: Select the runner you would like to use for retrieving data from the source.
- SNMPv1 or SNMPv2
- UDP 161 from runner to all network infrastructure devices
Configure plugin: Configure the
|A semicolon(;) separated list of SNMPv1 or SNMPv2 community string configured across all network devices.|
|A semicolon(;) separated list of infrastructure devices to begin the discovery process on. If no seed IP is provided it will use the Runner's default gateway.|
Configure Name: OPTIONAL: You can give the configuration a name to provide an identifiable attribute of the configuration to delineate other similar configurations.
Activate Config: To enable this configuration and begin pulling data select "Activate". If you wish to save the configuration to come back later to finish, select "Save Draft". This will save the configuration, but keep it disabled until Activated.
SNMP community strings are required for this capability to work and vary by the infrastructure equipment/products being used.
Sevco Network Discovery requires only the read community string.
