Lansweeper is a cross-platform IT asset discovery platform that finds and gathers information on assets without needing an agent.
Integrating with Lansweeper will provide visibility into devices scanned by Lansweeper
This integration pulls devices and associated information from Lansweeper by connecting to the Lansweeper SQL Server database. A device must meet the following criteria for Sevco to pull the device:
- Asset state is Active
- Has a MAC address
Install a runner: Follow our instructions to install a runner.
Choose a runner: Select the runner you would like to use for retrieving data from the source.
- TCP/IP 1433 from Runner to the configured Lansweeper SQL Server instance.
Configure plugin: Configure the plugin with the required fields.
URL of the MSSQL server containing the Lansweeper database
MSSQL server port. defaults to 1433
MSSQL server user. (Read-Only User Recommended)
MSSQL server password
Lansweeper database hosted on the MSSQL server. (lansweeper default is lansweeperdb)
Configure Name: OPTIONAL: You can give the configuration a name to provide an identifiable attribute of the configuration to delineate other similar configurations.
Activate Config: To enable this configuration and begin pulling data select "Activate". If you wish to save the configuration to come back later to finish, select "Save Draft". This will save the configuration, but keep it disabled until Activated.
