Digital Guardian - Creating a Custom Export Profile

In order for Sevco to pull all of the necessary data from Digital Guardian, you must configure a Custom Export Profile and retrieve the Export Profile ID to input into the Sevco Digital Guardian integration.

How to create a Custom Export Profile for the Machine Inventory

  1. Login to your Digital Guardian ARC tenant and go to "Administration & Configuration"
  2. Expand the "Reports" menu and click on Export Profiles
  3. Within the Export Profiles, click on the +Add option at the top right and enter the following information:
  • Profile Name: Machine Inventory
  • Description: Custom Export Profile for Machine Inventory
  • Data Export Type: Single Query
  • Format: JSON
  • Data: click on + Add Data Set and click on the Click to import data set option and select the location of the JSON data set file.
    • Desired data set. Bold are required.
      • Computer Name, Computer Operating System, Computer Agent Type, Agent Version, Communication Server Name, Agent Status, Computer Is Laptop, In Domain, Locale Name, MAC Address, Machine ID, Machine Type, Computer Last Communication Time, Non-Communicative Hours, Last Reboot Time

Alternatively, the dataset can be created manually by selecting the following data:
From: All Computer Inventory Entries
Show: Computer Name, Computer Operating System, Computer Agent Type, Agent Version, Communication Server Name, Agent Status, Computer Is Laptop, In Domain, Locale Name, MAC Address, Machine ID, Machine Type, Computer Last Communication Time, Non-Communicative Hours, Last Reboot Time

  • Time Range: 24hr
  • Time Field To Query: Event Time
  • Time Zone: This should be selected according to the your preference. i.e. US/Eastern(-0400)
  1. Click on Apply to save the data set and then click on Save to create the export profile

How to retrieve the Export Profile ID

  1. From the Export Profiles page, click on the Machine Inventory export profile and then on the Edit option, at the right top.
  2. Within the URL field, copy the GUID that is between .../export_profiles/ and /export
